Elle: What do you need to go to Metrotown for?
Quinn: Um, I have to get some presents for my friend Todd.
Elle: What are you planning to get for him? Like, a new laptop?
Quinn: I don’t need to spend that much. I thought about getting a teapot or a cheap watch. I mean, I don’t intend to spend a lot of money, you know.
Elle: I really think you need to spend a bit more money. Anyways, to get to Metrotown you should first walk to Waterfront Station.
Quinn: So, then what should I do to get there?
Elle: Um, get on the Eastbound train to King George Station, and take it for about 20 minutes until you get to Metrotown Station.
Quinn: What do I do when I get to the station?
Elle: Just follow the signs to Metrotown, you can’t miss it. If you get lost, just talk to a Skytrain cop.
Quinn: Great! Thanks for giving me a hand. Now I just ought to decide what to get him. I’m really trying not to spend too much money. I just don’t know what to do!
Elle: You should think on your way to the mall. How about a novel? A toy dog? A doll? What did he, uh, give to you for your birthday?
Quinn: A pair of socks.
