Anju: I’ve made a decision. I thought about taking some time off, so I have to go to the airport tomorrow.
Patrick: Where are you going?
Anju: I was thinking I would try to go somewhere hot. Like, Alaska or Russia.
Patrick: That’s a long way to go, but it’s cold there, not hot! That sounds awful. Are you walking to the airport?
Anju: I’m not walking, I was going to ask you to drive me, if that’s okay.
Patrick: No, I can’t. It’s so hard for me to get to the airport. I always get lost on the way there.
Anju: It’s so easy to get to the airport. You just go to Hastings Street and drive for four minutes.
Patrick: It’s much farther than that, and you need to take Granville, not Hastings. Anyways, it won’t be my fault if we get lost.
Anju: If you really want me to walk, I can. I’d just have to get up at dawn.
Patrick: I guess it’s a long way to walk. If you really want me to drive you, I will.
Anju: Great! If you don’t mind, I’d like you to pick me up early, so we can go to the store. I have to go to London Drugs to buy a cord for my old iPhone four. And can we go to Costco so I can –
Patrick: Aww, forget it.
